Register for Temporary Protected Status (TPS)

Help for individuals from Afghanistan, Burma (Myanmar), Cameroon, Ethiopia, El Salvador, Haiti, Honduras, Nepal, Nicaragua, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, Venezuela, and Yemen.

If the immigrant already has TPS, they need to make an appointment now to re-register their TPS before it expires. Even if the deadline for re-registering has passed, it’s still a good idea to get a consultation about immigration options. Some TPS holders may also qualify for another, more permanent form of relief.

If they don’t yet have TPS, make an appointment with one of the organizations below to apply.

Temporary Protected Status can be granted to individuals from Afghanistan, Burma (Myanmar), Cameroon, Ethiopia, El Salvador, Haiti, Honduras, Nepal, Nicaragua, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, Venezuela, and Yemen.
